Your mother or father probably read you a similar bedtime story as a child; however, this tale was not quite ready for print during the publication of  Grimms´Fairy Tales, so for the first time ever, their engagement tale reads something like this....

 

Victor, hereafter called Sir Victor, spent months persuading Kate, hereafter called Madame Kate, that they were going camping in the Smokey Mountains, but instead, he whisked her off to the faraway land of DISNEY World!!!!  The surprise was graciously accepted. On the plane, they watched Ratatouille and laughed so loudly that they had to be shushed by the airline stewardess. Imagine that. Upon landing, Kate was still half exhausted (after three months of board studying and missed sleep). She then quickly passed out on the hotel lobby sofa as playing children giggled and ran around her head while Victor spent over an hour at the concierge desk checking in and getting MAGIC BANDS. When they finally made it to their room, her sleep was continuously interrupted by Victor´s incessant hiccuping- a sign that his subconscious was nervous. This made Kate very suspicious indeed.  After half a night's slumber, the next day was worry free at Belle´s castle, the enchanted dining room, Space Mountain, and the EPCOT fireworks display.

 

You are probably wondering when I will get to the actual engagement story... patience is key, my dear. Imagine waiting four more years... So, on the second day of the Disney adventure, the Cruise begins!!!! They join Captain Mickey and his crew as they begin a three day Halloween voyage at sea.  

 

Sir Victor opens his suitcase and gently pulls out an elaborate Cinderella gown with necklace, crown, and gloves. ¨Madame Kate, I packed you a dress for tonight's dinner.¨ And yes, in case you were wondering, he bought it with Amazon Prime along with his 6-month supply of fruity cheerios. Kate was delighted and impressed it fit so well. She quickly painted her eyes--there was no time to waste defrizzifying her hair or coloring her nails. That would have to wait... more patience please.
